Thanks for the comments Pat–I appreciate the time you took to look and offer your opinion.

I made the concious decision to build my site all in flash for a few reasons:

1. My clients with no exception have broadband access, so I'm really not trying to cater to people on dial ups. This does affect usability in a limited way, but I'm not sold on the idea that usability=good website. Jakob Nielson's site is one of the ugliest sites on the web and showing my wares on a site like that would end my design career.

2. It highlights my ability to build flash applications which I get a lot of call for.

3. Fash has definitely been abused which leads people to biases about the tool. But, I see "hating flash" is akin to hating a hammer.

If I was to build a site that attempts to educate an audience on a complex topic like website marketing, I surely wouldn't use flash. But since all sites don't serve the same audiences or purposes, I feel that using different technologies for different uses makes a lot of sense.

Also, its not made in frames. I don't like frames myself because of the usability issues. Yes, I draw the line somewhere. :)

Thanks again.
Troy
