Hi! I can completely understand where you're coming from - I just designed my first 2 web sites - I'm a stay at home mom - not a web designer :-)
However, I have to agree with Rodricus - I wasn't quite sure what you were about on your web page. All of those flashing ads kept distracting me - and when I found the 'advertise for free on your enzime' ('scuze my computer illiteracy...what's an 'enzime' at first I thought it might be a typo, but then saw it in a couple other places, so realized it must be computer lingo) - I clicked on it, found the form to fill out - but it wouldn't let me put my information in beside the questions.
Just my 2 cents :-) I love the purple background and the clean font - easy to read, not hard on the eyes.
I also agree with Rodricus - if you can spread your web site over a few pages, instead of trying to squish it all on 1 - probably would have a better effect for you.
Personally, I used Publisher 2000 to design my web sites... http://members.shaw.ca/tamgarboxers/ http://members.shaw.ca/firstimpr/
Like I said - I'm not a professional web designer.... :-)
